TANKA LOVE MUSIC

how familiar that tune –
the enchanting night
your warm embrace –
now i remember
claire de lune

piano - four hands
fur elise you’ve never heard
such cross-overs
our hands would touch
and we’d laugh

my love with child
not my own
yet some eternal source within
said, “i forgive”
transfigured night *

A thumbs up, Daver! A friend of mine used to play this on the piano; always found it hauntingly beautiful. She had also played the Flûte traversière. This is bringing me back to my home. Hope you're feeling better! Love you, Mikki

My mother who is from France called it Pour Elise. I sneak at least a few notes into everyone of the plays I direct. A Fav.
