Tango (Fibonacci)

TANGO (Fibonacci)

He
She
Table
Bold Spanish music
Flask of vintage wine Two glasses
She so dark So beautiful The rhythm? Maddening!
A Tango by Albeniz Fire in her eyes Lips promising
                                         Young love
                                                           Espana!

Dear Daver, while I was born in Estonia, my family had to flee from communist domination, and after 7 years in Sweden settled in Canada. Even though I currently live in Mexico, my email is still [email protected] The ca stands for Canada. I look forward to hearing from you and to discussing the various artists in the music world. I like a lot of semi-classical music, too, but I’m ignorant about modern music and musicians who came after Elvis Presley. I’m old fashioned. Love, Amy.

Oh, I love ESPANA!! Cool tango, DAver. About the rock poem, it was based on the picture for Raul(?)'s contest. It is an archway in a desert with stars of night behind it. Have you been to Spain? I found out you have met my dear friend Amy!! LUv, Andrea ps. when are you posting the Lost poem?

Dear Daver, Yes, music is international but as manager of three Mensa groups, I get the feeling that I’m manager of a cultural back water. People hardly ever discuss good music and all they seem to know about is rock or country and western. I suppose it’s culture of a sort but it’s not the kind I’m used to or like. The violin is my next favourite instrument, the human voice being the first. Love, Amy

Dear Daver, I’m 74, and my parents are dead. My father was actually a lawyer-politician-writer, and the violin was a hobby, although he gave recitals when he was young. I grew up in a home with good music. I play the piano myself, but I’m not very good anymore. My email is [email protected], and I would like to keep in touch with you. I might add that this is the first time that I have said that to anybody on internet. Love, Amy

sounds romantic, I am not a fiddler, I did take some lessons when I was a child, but never was coordinated enough to put it all together. I wish I had tried harder. I love to hear a fiddle play and it is so beautiful. Do you play?

P.S. Could you please tell me where you live, Daver? I was born in Estonia, one of the Baltic states, and I have a feeling that you may also be European. Love, Amy

Dear Daver, I’m absolutely delighted to run into you! My mother was a concert pianist and my father played the violin. I just finished your poem Tango (Fibonacci) and I see that you mention another favourite of mine, the Albeniz Tango. You bring back so many beautiful memories of musicians I have known who really knew what beautiful music could do. Thank you for a special moment in my day. I have both the Tango and Monte’s czardas on tape together with many other favourites. Love, Amy
