Tammuz God of Springtime Plants

Tammuz is mythical God of springtime plants.
Garden vegetables praises you in rants.
God of the flower,
God of most power.
Makes most pleasant Babylonian chants.

This is mighty fine penning.... Here's an item, perhaps of interest: Right now is the Hebrew month of Tammuz! Today is the 8th of the month; so the moon should be about 60% full tonight, as tonight will usher in the 9th of the month. We Jews took the names of our calendar months from Babylonia, where we were exiled in 486 B.C.E. How 'bout them apples? ~ Gershon

I knew all of this because I looked it up this week, but it is so much sweeter coming from a friend.

Once we get started we think of nothing but limericks.
