Talk With a Tree
Trees standing so tall in the woods,
makes me want to talk with them,
they give us the shade we need
when the summer sun beats down on
our frail heads.
Trees are dwelling place for
birds of the air and other fine
creatures of the sky.
Where would squirrels live and
store their nuts for winter without
the trees all around us.
Talk with a tree, caress it
with love and passion,
our world would be so
empty without trees
covering the land scape.
