Taking Liberty

We took the poor the tired the huddled masses we took from countries their lowered classes we took religious rejects heresy suspects and those that never believed in the divine armed them with liberty the hope for all equality a just and right philosophy in due time for men to see a people fo all people to be we see what explorers did not see we posses the object of kings greed a dominion shared by the world a melting pot for iron occured such as the world has never heard and from it's shores freedom rings echoing no man and every man king from it's own glory hearts would sing about it's precious liberty it's constitution a covenent with the land a visible between God and man originally created what it was ment to be as now evident as men now see what once was a place for men to flee still is that place where a vision see's a hope a place an opportunity a priceless thing called liberty

"this priceless thing called liberty" is by comparison and heaven. And yet.... so many unaccepted in our melting pot. It seems to take centuries. love, Kathy
