Takes But a Moment

Pausing, just for a moment, he could see his reflection in the storefront window.
Where had time gone, he thought, and who is this man he became?
He didn’t like what he saw there, and ironically had never really seen that before.
He noticed another in the reflection next to him, but when he turned, he was not
there.
He looked again to the glass, for there, through his heart, he was able to see
Him,
The one that guides, that allows us the vision of ourselves and gives hope.
He turned, walking away, he smiled and gave of his burdens to the other.
He became free within the touch, the presence of the spirit of light and life.
He went off, changing his outlook, fulfilling his dreams as they relate to his faith.
He opened himself to love and cast aside greed, allowing himself to be
recognized
In the family that he belonged to his whole life, but never believed, until that
moment.
