Taken

taken

it must have happened
when I as wee
stolen from my small bed
to the arms of fairy
was I led.
now I dwell in both
my body here
my mind flies free.
as I age and time sands
my thoughts
are more oft in that land
where the heart is forever young.

Beautiful poetic expressions, Pat. A very exhilarating wistful thought poem. Your pen is forever young, that's for sure. Wonderful poem. Love and smiles always.

What a delightful pen Patricia! It brings to mind The Little Prince for me, never lose your child's point of view. Love this one :) xomo <3

That's a real gift, I think! I'd like to develop a child like mind. Sweet and beautiful poetry.
