Take Water
Take water, what do you know about it?
it has an almost magical existence
yet does it start as a cloud?
or is evaporation from bodies of water?
The answer amazingly is, its a byproduct
when stars are born a strong outward wind
of gas and dust forms, the shockwaves compress
and heat it forming water and vapour
Next time you have a drink,
Think
in your hand you hold birth
remember you also hold a star
What a miraculous thing is water
it keeps us from extinction
the sheer beauty delights
as it bounces sparkles and twinkles
Transparent and crystal clear
it holds so many life forms
all invisible to the naked eye
