Take Please My Hands
Come my darling and take please my hands
When the tender birds are fast asleep
When the stars would weep upon the sands
And the sultry trees, our secrets keep
For by the verdant paths and mountain's steep
There our love would spring like flowers
In all the night's enchanted hours
Would you take my hands to softly tread
The fields that hangs the amour moon
When all the world and night is dead
In this gladsome spring of June
But before the morn returns to soon
I bow my knees in love's fair plea
To say my love, would you marry me?
