Take Me To Your Friend

TAKE ME TO YOUR FRIEND

Take me to your friend that leads you to the greener pasture
That same friend that made you a new creature
I've seen everywhere His son's picture
And how He gave out simple instructions
Heard He made a way through the wilderness
And turned the wave of the ocean into calmness
I read about the man He set free from blindness
I just want to be part of His Holiness

That only and holy man I seek to know
Life, hope and fortune from Him I wish to borrow
And I heard He gives with no sorrow
I have my life on the brink crashing under my enemies' arrows
I heard he cares not if I'm young or old
I will crawl on my kneels to Him just for my hand to hold
Take me to Him today for it may be late tomorrow

Take me to the man on the cross
I heard He cares and calls with no force
I read He still cherishes the prodigals with no love lost
I'm afraid if He won't recall my blasphemy
Won't He send me away when He hears my name is Femi
Won't I get to pay a higher levy
Would He still have a place for me amongst His chosen that are this many

Take me to your own your very own
That friend that led you home
For I now live without hope
I'm weak and can't breathe with my nose
If He's willing to save my soul
I shall be ready to play my role
Please call my name to your friend alone
If His path can safely lead me home
I'm ready to walk with Him to the throne

CONCEPTUAL FM ???
