Take Me Back My Love
Take me back my love…I shall show you a love you’ll n e v e r forget,
Please unpack my love…I shall hold you enough, you’ll n e v e r regret.
Let’s ease our anger and turn it into a night of sweet memories,
please be my anchor and burn with passion for three centuries.
A second chance I beg of you, honor reprieve I hoped you vowed,
I’m dependent with one glance from you, please don’t leave now.
I’ll show more respect and treat you like you really deserve,
I know what you expect and meet you freely in our universe.
Can a pardon be given to someone who has loved you since sixteen?
you’re so hard on me and I’m living in clouds above with a heart unseen.
Can flowers and rhymes be enough for you to walk back in my life?
the hours and all the time has been rough, why can’t you talk to your wife?
I understand your pain and I guess I didn’t realize I hurt you so bad,
my hands aren’t the same with less of you; your cries make me sad.
Break this silence and give me once more opportunity to show to you,
I’ll take your guidance and live with more equanimity and show your value.
Take me back my love…I shall show you a love you’ll n e v e r forget,
Please unpack my love…I shall hold you enough, you’ll n e v e r regret.
