Take Care With Yesterdays

I hugged a yesterday today.

Picked it up and hugged it just as though,

it had never gone away.

Yesterdays have lots of what should never be forgot.

But they can become addictive and,

should have a warning where they open:

“Please take care that you let go, before the lust begins to show.”

I think I got away with it.

How true! We want to hold on to our yesterdays, but if we do, we can't focus on today.

Thank you, Darlene. And what you've said is even more true.
