Take Another Piece

In this concrete jungle where love's a game, I'll tell your boyfriend, baby, set him aflame. Your secrets, they echo through the night's embrace, Like a Motown melody, a Tevin Campbell phase. Didn't I make you feel like a king on high? Didn't I surrender all I had to supply? But time and time again, I've said goodbye, Yet here I stand, my heart still tied. I'll show you, lover, that a woman's strong, You'll take another piece, prolong the wrong. Break it, baby, shatter it like glass, Then darling, have another piece, let it surpass. On the streets you roam, so debonair, But deep inside, guilt gnaws, an unseen snare. My cries, they echo in the night's embrace, Never reaching you, a haunting, empty space. Yet when you hold me close, my pain subsides, And I'll repeat these words, with gentle tides. Take another piece, my love, it's yours to claim, If it brings you solace, it's not in vain.
