Take a Chance

TAKE A CHANCE Life! And a chance to love Every mountain meadow and field beckons every earth-bound thing stirring Well then? LOVE! The inconstant mind will disagree will crawl every corner of existence Hah! That slab of meat will - computer-like - store every confuting demon Weighing Condemning Praising Supporting Confusing in a whirl! (oh, to just die) But close your eyes Life! The Life-Giver! Always present Always with ‘that still small voice’ will tell “Here are no inconsistencies Just love”

I'm in the midst of testing love again Daver. Still cautious though, but this verse with the slab of meat asks a few questions. Love the images though.

Man, have you got that slab of meat down pat in this free verse! This closes and opens with the only way possible to live fully and it is as you say Just Love! Awesome Daver ..thanks for the upbeat reminder...sometimes I really do forget that - Bob

Great ending here, Daver! To truly love the "small voice" will say there are "no inconsistencies". Trying to dissect takes away its magic. Flip is a face on our rug. Upsidedown and rightside up, it's the same. Looking at it from either side, sides are different, though both are identicle. Confused? Most who look at it are.:) One day I will draw it, but the geometic shapes need to be exact. I am also trip, flip, flopped...thiis s going to be a brain teaser for you! Best wishes, Love, Mikki

There really are two constants in our life Daver. One is God and the other is love. Maybe I should give love another shot. Great work. Best to you, Diane

Absolutely, we should all take that chance, for what is life anyway without love! Original way of putting it. :) Thanks for sharing, Daver! Caroline.
