Hi Bob! Clear last rhyme in this limerick. I too had no idea there was a national feline day. I didn't tell my canine lest he feel left out. You know how dogs are. I will read your other poems ASAP. Thanks for the stop by. / M

Thx, Connie. The cat is my favorite animal as well. We've had a series of cats over the years and now have a delightful cat named Jeff.
