Tag! Guess Who! You'Re It!

Tag! Guess who! You’re It!

So I’m it, you better run.
Playing tag can be great fun.
Poets searching here and there
Trying to find a word somewhere.
It cannot be just any word.
And never should it be absurd.
Unless you’re trying to bring a laugh!
Breathy laughing without gas…
Better hurry I’m fading fast.
Trying to tag someone, alas.
Poets near are writing there.
I’m not too sure this game is fair.
While they’re sitting in a chair,
Writing poems about holiday affairs
Not realizing one big mistake.
Her “Majesty” plays tag this date.
Carolyn Devonshire TAG!!! You’re it!
Play this game you must not sit.
I have tagged you, friend of mine.
With royal muster, play the game fine!

Oh my, Carolyn has slipped away. <--- She's on vacation
She jumped up quick and ran that day.
So I'm still out here chasing poets.
I'll tag someone before they know it.
Deborah Guzzi you better watch out.
If I catch you, do not pout!
Simply let your words come out!
She's faster than a speeding bullet.
Out of sight like a light!
Ahhhh! I see someone hiding over there.
I'm going to sneak on over. Charma, Beware!
Tag!!! You are it!!!! LOL! LOL! LOL!
And I'm smiling all the way "somewhere."
Charma dear, never fear.
Play it fair and chase with care!

(The game started on "Turkey" day for fun form Phyllis Babcock to john to Dane Ann to
Charma, at last!)
