Taffy - Ode To My Dog
The first best friend I ever had,
you run miles in my dreams
You're by my side, you wait for me
You're loyal, you've always been
You never speak a complaining word
and your eyes always smile
You love me unconditionally,
You're open, like a child
And you'll live on here in my heart
for all my days on earth
Not Solomon's mines, nor Fort Knox gold
could equal a good dog's worth
