Tabaco Seeds Sown To the Ground
Tobacco seeds sown to the ground
in long rows Of raised beds
pinned down by the suns rays
In warm golden threads sewn across a barren quilt
with a stitch of land here and a flowing river there
The beds begin to sprout down the rows.
And sewn into harvest as the quilt grows.
