Synthetic Euphoria

Numbing the emotional pain that is not visible
It stills present behind a mask that shows a smile
To the outside world, but is holding tears inside
Hallucinating with the shot injection that kills with
A venom that slowly poisons the mind and body
Recreating a fantasy world when the realities
Are not seen with the anesthesic effects, until
One day, one injection is not enough and
Trying to escape from the torments carried inside
A needle is stuck in the arm, leaving forever
Founding his body abandoned in the street
Nobody reclaimed him, been buried as John Doe
Without leaving a legacy of good deeds in his life
Sometimes life lessons can be very painful to endure
But drugs use is not the answer. Pray for Direction
And take the decisions that will bring you a better tomorrow
