Synaptic

I so enjoyed my escape into your beautiful mind. Traveling along synaptic highways, moving at the speed of thought. I journeyed to our yesterdays, happy thoughts encased in light. Your storehouse of hugs and kisses, all those smiles that shone so bright. I saw that look, as you gazed in the mirror. Head resting on my shoulder, you feeling me near. The taste of orange crush on your tongue. Were we ever that young? I could have stayed there forever, yet your thoughts are your own. So happy for that slice of time. Even now we are connected, intertwined. Come escape into my mind. Travel along synaptic highways. Come travel at the speed of thought!

I agree w/Nette. I love your weaving of words creating a beautiful thematic tapestry of love and human connectivity. Very cerebral poem. Much depth of thought/simplicity of expression. A 7 and a fave, my friend. Love and joy to you.

Thought proving write Rick, certainly brought a few to the suface for me. I'm not sure about travellig at the speed of your thought, just trying to keep up with the speed of your writing is hard enough lol. Take care, Richard

Ahhhh yes we were that young...not so long ago...me....listing to dreamweaver on 8 tracks..moving at this speed of thought right now...great poem Richard..PS sorry about the picture thing.I was trying to figure out how to take a new pic this morning so you I guess saw me while I was doing that today somehow..I don't know what I'm doing with this gadget

I remember listening over and over to all the old songs on my dads 8 track. I still like a lot of that old music. I thought it was so cool that he had one in his Buick wildcat.
