Symbiosis

In a circle
Of first graders
Who looked out
With suspicious eyes

On the playground
Next to the
 jungle gym
No breaching would realize

  A little hand
Reached out
to bravely
Pull me inside

His little heart
Knew in protection
Exclusion
Still divides

Perhaps as myself
He's stood in the outs
 Or had earned some rank
In the friendship scouts

Whatever the reason
for bravery shown he was
and will be the clown fish
to this prickly anemone

Oh yes. Have we not all been that vulnerable child and most, that comforting teacher? Thank you, Vicki, I love your poetry, too.

Symbiosis is a Greek compound word that means " living together ''. Unfortunately, it is not easy to achieve, unless one has the experience and the knowledge that helps one understand what another person goes through. A profound and well-written poem, dear Vickey! Be blessed!
