Swing Ye Swing

I thrust forward Fighting against the wind With great anticipation I climb higher Thrusting and pulling with all my might Hoping just once to touch the sky Yet reality strikes Gravity like a great rope Restrains my dream Binding me Tying me To that which I want not Casting me back Downward Reminding my heart That I'm confined Chained to this earth I dared desire to escape Leaving me only to soar within the heart
