Form Used: Spenserian Stanza
A Spenserian Stanza is a 9-line stanza consisting of eight lines
of Iambic Pentameter (10 Syllables and 5 feet),
and the 9th line is an Alexandrine, (12 Syllables and 6 feet).
Rhyme scheme: a b a b b c b c c.

Sweetest Big Puppy Love


“Sweet puppy love he does impart-
          that flows out from his giant heart!”

Our grandson has a very special pet
who's nine months old, and such a loving one!
If you could see him, surely you'd forget
he's still a puppy wanting to have fun!
He might outpace you on a morning run;
then on your lap, he spreads out long and wide.
One hundred pounds already, and not done;
sweet Bernese Mountain Dog stands tall with pride!
But, how big will he get?  I ask myself, wide-eyed.
