A guiding light, whether day or night
Sweeter than sweet to me
A precious treasure indeed

Guiding me along the way
As I travel a narrow lane
Giving me strength each day

Soul food for me to eat
Means everything to me

It's a lamp unto my feet
Hidden inside of me
That I might not sin against Thee
