Sweet Passion Flower

Sweet passion flower on the vine,
Your crown of thorns adorned with pride.
    Amazing grace, simply divine,
    Symbols how Christ, was crucified.
    Your tendrils, flagellations whips,
And stigmas, nails, pierced hands and feet.
Sharp pointed leaves, the holy lance.
    Sour nectar, tainted blessed lips.
I contemplate each time we meet,
    Your message, shown with elegance.

Hello Jan, i am guessing that you must be, far westwards of the GMT. Your most kind comments seems to be, before i finished my poetry. But nevertheless, please accept my warmest regards for doing so. George.
