Sweet Mystery
Marshmallow or caramel?
raspberry or peanut butter?,
sweet mystery in a box
my heart all a'flutter
Cupid has found me
the sweetest heart,
my perfect match
pierced with his dart
Chocolate hearts
are so easy to melt,
not so easy to break
and no pain to be felt
Just say you will
only be all mine,
just say you will
be my valentine
On February 14th
be the perfect gift,
be the only reason
my frown will lift
Diamonds do sparkle
to entice the eye,
but chocolate can
so deeply satisfy
Red roses so lovely
eventually wilt,
but chocolate can
promise undying guilt
Yes, it too disappears
but I can get more,
with a quick trip
to a corner store!
