Sweet Jake

I knew a guy whose name was Jake
Who lived in the woods near a lake
           He was sorta wacky
           And a tad bit tacky
But for some reason he liked to bake

gosh, Alexis. you used to play in the water turned on by hydrants? That must have been so cool! Let me read your poem here now. I am drawn to it, as it was the nicname of my stepfather.

Another shake-n-jake poem, eh. Humorous limerick, not acrostic ... I'm just saying. Funny write, lady. Love and hugs.

his cookies were oh so very sweet...couldn't wait til it was time to eat...really crispy crunch...in every bite I'd munch...until I heard he'd mix with his feet
