Sweet Hour
I awake daily with your voice that beckons me to your chamber.
Memories of past encounters bring stimulation and I run to your arms.
Swiftly we know each other eternally.
Minutes rest motionless and hours by no means arrive.
My moan stems from our affair.
My soul belongs to you, but I posses your love.
Oneness is achieved: I in you and you in me.
Temporarily our shared lives are evident in the earth.
Incredible is your love, tremendous in its application.
You baptize me with your tenderness and submission is what is birthed in me.
Amen.
