Sweet Helen

She sailed in beauty late at night,
Over the seas, together, ready for a flight.
He kissed her hard, oh luscious lips.
She knew not she had launched a thousand ships.

Helen with her enticing beauty has been the cause of the downfall of empires.....a face that launched a thousand ships ! It's said that her beauty sparked the Trojan war. Great poem on a classical heroine. All the Best dear Victor.

A beautiful poem dearest Victor. Enlighten me, did he kiss her hard because that was his intention of launching a thousand ships? One to ponder....Hugs
