Sweet Erika

Sweet Erika I miss not seeing you,
as often as I use to.

I may not tell you how much
I love you, like I use to.

You are my only Grand Daughter
and you are so special to me.

You are still cute as a button,
I am amazed with how grown up you are.

In a few short years you will become
a young woman, I may not live to see it.

Knowing that whatever you decide
to become, success will surely follow.

I want you to know, how proud I am
to be your Grandfather.

A very moving tribute to sweet Erika, James. You're so lucky to have her -- spend every minute you can with her! I hope you get to dance at her wedding and welcome your first great grandchild. Very uplifting poem, James. Much love, Carolyn

Erica is blessed by having you there as her "Grandfather". My children never knew my dad...but still dearly remember my mom. She will always treasure this write, and her dear grandfather. Wishing you and yours the best, James!! Mikki

Being a grandparent is the most rewarding privilege we have. We don't have the responsibility of the parents but all the joy of the love. Love, Joyce
