Sweet Dreams
Secret thoughts of you my mind keeps hidden,
Sometimes come to me at times unbidden.
Tantalizing and sweet and thrilling,
To explore these thoughts I am most willing.
Waves of emotion, highs and lows I have ridden.
His intense gaze captures my eye
Upon soft, pillowed cushions I lie.
His light touch on my awakening skin,
The sweet breathtaking feelings begin.
My heart beats so fast I feel I must die.
The image of his strong arms as they hold me,
Suddenly nervous I feel I must flee.
Soft words he murmurs into my ear,
"You're safe, take comfort and settle here.
At home in his warm embrace I will be.
My skin tingles, nerve endings quake
Feelings you bring out in me I shall not fake.
I cannot explain it: a mystery to me,
In my mind, at my side... you will always be.
A quick inhale, alone I awake.
