Sweet Darling
Sweet Darling, all I think about is you.
When I’m alone, I daydream and I pine.
To be your Valentine, what must I do?
You’ve caught me gazing at your eyes of blue,
your locks of golden hair, and smile so fine.
Sweet darling, all I think about is you.
We’re friends, but don’t you have by now a clue
that I adore you? (that’s not just a line!)
To be your Valentine, what must I do?
You need to know my love for you is true.
Were I the sun, for you alone I’d shine.
Sweet Darling, all I think about is you.
I want you, and I think you want me too.
Yet nothing happens! Please give me a sign.
To be your Valentine, what must I do?
Just make your move, and see what can ensue.
I guarantee that it will be divine.
Sweet Darling, all I think about is you.
To be your Valentine, what must I do?
