Sweet Blood
His kindness was excessive,
His compassion was enormous,
Sweetness was mixed with his blood,
And sugar ran through his veins,
Crawling slowly into his heart,
Slithering between his organs...
Sweetness swam in his body,
But his heart felt bitter,
Deceit and betrayal,
Lay under his skin,
But with a sweet taste,
Like a harmless sin,
Taking over his body and soul,
Leaving him breathless,
Sweetness controls his mind,
While lies surround his heart,
All the kindness he had in him,
Was drenched with lies,
And the enormous compassion,
Eventually dies,
Nothing is what it seems,
Even in our dreams,
No one lives honestly,
People live to pretend...
No matter how sweet a person is,
A hole filled with bitterness
Lies underneath,
Even if sugar ran in his blood….
