Sweet Angels On Earth

Just before eight
In peace I await
Birds now settling down

A distant sound of palm on palm 
Thanks sent with love to you all
For those who go beyond the call

Our applause getting louder
For we could not be prouder

   Then cheers
      And tooting
   Then tears
      And shouting

Thanking you all with each clap of our hands

Guardian Angels keep you strong
Guardian Angels keep you safe

Sweet angels on earth
To us all you are worth
More than money can ever buy

On this moonlit night 
Sent with love from up high  
Stardust and moonbeams
Rain down from the sky…

After our second thank you (by clapping) for all our wonderful NHS staff who are working so hard during this very challenging time…
