Sweet Angel Poet's Dozen

Sweet Angel ~ Poet's dozen


                              sweet angel of mine
                          when I look into her eyes
                                  love is all I feel

                             

              Baby dolls ~ pony tails ~  then her first date

        Slow down, Father Time. Would you please just wait?

 

           In wedding gown and veil, she belongs to another.

              My sweet angel, grown up, starting a new life.

  

                 My daughter has a sweet child of her own.
                           Her love cannot be disguised. 
                           Soon he, too will be grown.
                          She'll sing no more lullabies.
                    Her sweet angel will always live in her eyes.
