Sweet Addition

Every moment precious to be savored
Zephyr breath soft sweet welcome
Entering hearts in coy fashion
Keeping thoughts of heaven near.
Innocence shines through wraps of cotton
Eclipsing both sun and moon
Love's legacy incorporated into you.


Wrote this for a new addition to the family.  Babies are such a blessed addition. This was for my niece's son who was born at only 36 weeks. (a month early) I'm getting updated pictures regularly.

Congrats, Janet, on the addition to the family. This is a very sweet write. I especially liked...entering hearts in a coy fashion. Babies do have that endearing quality. I think it is the promise of innocence and purity. Thank you for your visit to my Curves poem. I enjoyed reading your insights on the matter.

Babies are the world's greatest sign of hope in tomorrow. I'l get to go meet this one in person soon which is exciting. I've always felt peaceful with a baby in my arms. Thanks for stopping by. Curved was well deserving of POTD. Jan
