Sweet-And-Sour Melody
Complications arise dear friends, and I surmount,
now with pioneering spirit, spilling, and grappling to recount:
past distress, with the ability to introspect,
accounting all, and all with due respect,
for incessant labour, and all actions spent,
though some ill and unfavored, I will not repent...
but rather play, here, in one resultant song;
a sweet-and-sour melody,
played out so long,
played out so slow,
and played out now,
sowing forth to show, that it shall not end...
And what fruits shall come,
what dividend...
I shall consume alone-
til' death comes forth,
to free,
exhume,
and consecrate my flesh and bone.
