Swear Words
Swear words are just simple sounds
That explode forth as a grunt,
Words like ****!, or ****!, or ****!, or Zounds!
Or far worse words like ****!
And if by this little rhyme
Your senses are offended
I assure you that there is no crime
Nor any offense intended.
For if your mind is choosing
To fill in any gap,
Then it’s you, not I, that’s using
Those offensive words, dear chap.
