Swallowing Colors

Swallowing colors from a new day
replacing the moon
Affecting my soul as it orbits this
world I find you
Never have I seen such a beautiful
sunrise
Until I saw one ignite the passion
deep inside of your eyes

Turning the beats of my heart into a
sweet melody
As I listen to your voice then your
lips begin melting me
I can feel myself longing for the fire
that once consumed all of my love
It was like eating the sun so it
scorched the taste of your kiss from
my tongue

Quietly the day falls away with little
drops of rain
Separating horizon from the
sunsetting behind colors of gray
Now even beneath a black sky I can
still see your radiant face
Tracing a silhouette of your world
embodied with heavenly grace

Powerfully written in your inimitable style my friend and yet you didn't inform me that you were over here young Skywalker.
