Suspension of Judgement

Stupid. Drunk. Speeding. Andrew. 80. Captive adrenaline. Heart racing. Flying by life.
Afraid to move. Andrew sleek-faced infant. Stuck to the wheel. Frozen staring straight ahead.
Untainted flesh still untouched. Running a red light. Striking a tree. Catapulted from safety.
Breaking through glass. Lurching towards asphalt. Bones crushed. Death slides closer.
Thrust it away. One last glimpse. Before the lights all drown. Swallowed by slippery light.
Final forced breaths. I die. Painted. Red. Stupid. Drunk. Speeding. Andrew.

I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
