Surrender to love, Just surrender! Why do we resist so much? Why are we so afraid? Why deny that loving voice, Who's crying out inside? I know in my heart God loves us, Yet, I feel so unworthy, ashamed, and afraid. I can forgive everyone else, But why not myself? Why can't i just let go of all this pain! It's exhausting to always be getting in my own way, Yet when I'm humbled enough, I got down on my knees and prayed, I don't deserve you lord! forgive me, I'll say! I need you so dearly, oh lord I was wrong! They say you will answer to anyone who comes knocking on your door, So Iord I'm knocking, I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I tried things my way, Now, I'm ready to do it your way. Oh, how i thank you god, For now I feel your love and peace sorround me, Even though I don't deserve you, You still love me, Your love is truly magnificent, Greatest! Absolute, Wonderfulest, I have ever known. Even though we don't deserve you, You're mercy, grace, and love for us is truly glorious, I will trust you forever my father in heaven, You are my love, light, and home. Our cross may feel heavy, but soon this storm shall pass, Praise God truly for his glory, That love was always there! Surrender to love my friends, Just surrender! You may just find, that your heart, Was always right there.
