Surrender

Moving, like moonlight
Across the time zones,
Eastern winds blowing
Our tired hearts closer
To home. Ancient sand
Surrounds a warm sea,
Eternal site of longing,
Where lost souls meet
For moments of bliss,
On a beach of illusion,
As incoming dreams
Break, like waves taking

Us closer to the edge,
The edge of surrender.
