Surrender

In a moment of weakest surrender
I relinquished mine heart to thee
for nothing less doth love demand!
Its nectar sweetness draweth me
What a strange effect on mine heart
For love hath over ruled mine senses
and left me defenseless.
I am without one plea for I am at
Its mercy

I know mastery of verse when it touches mine heart and swathes mine soul.
