Surprise
Whence I flew back home where I felt free,
never knew this lifetime that's where he'd be,
like divine intervention from above,
I misunderstood lust for love.
As a kid his street was my bicycle beat,
my body swelled with surprise with this fresh new heat.
I left with a heart that was kicked aside,
and knew I'd never be his bride.
