Notes About The Poem

Surfer Dude

when the pain is too much to bear
I close my eyes and picture
surfing the waves of my youth
the ocean sounds get louder
till the roar takes over
and makes me see how
the afterlife might be

Love surfing the waves of my youth, those waves passed quite a while ago now. Thought provoking. Well written Line. Tom
