Surely Things Must Get Better

I'm retired now and I'm feeling pained,
My eyesight's gone off and my hair's not regained,
My wrinkles are deeper and I've got false teeth,
Surely to Betsy there'll be some relief,
But no, only today my remote control finger got sprained.
