Supple Cherry Door

SUPPLE CHERRY DOOR

supple cherry door 
with pearly white inside screen
used widely to eat and talk
slow to quick feed and purge
edging toward modest kindness

or leading highway
masking mirage purity
to listeners whose wisdom
is like rusting iron 
leaving them used and abused?
