Supermoon Eclipse - For Contest

I raised my hands to hide the streetlights
bleaching out my view,
and then, my Lord, I understood it;
I was praising you.

Eve, I honestly could not see much at all because of the streetlights and simply blotted them both out with raised hands; as it came into view, all I could do was praise God and found that I had literally assumed the correct stance. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my experience. ;)

That's a good poem. It's really hard to only write 4 lines isn't it!

Nathan, It isn't easy, but it is a good discipline as you need to be so economical. In this case, it wasn't too hard as the occasion overwhelmed me so much that words seemed superfluous. Thanks for visiting! ;)
