Super Cyber Being

Were you sitting in your swivel chair feeling fortified and safe,
with all your techno cures hooked up to your data base,
when the cyber system crashed and you realized that
your super hero six pack abs were just so much belly fat?

It was a mocked up protoplasm super cyber being;
A computer generated image you were seeing.
And your super techno savior just got it in the back,
the victim of a real life human suicide attack.

Were you sitting at your console, free firing at will
at the pixel pop up enemy and counting all your kills,
when the cyber system crashed into historical debris
and your super hero reflex became a weakness in your knees?

It was a mocked up protoplasm super cyber being;
A computer generated image you were seeing.
And your super techno savior just got it in the back,
the victim of a real life human suicide attack.

Now are you so entangled in a techno embrace
that you cannot disconnect from your cyberspace?
When the cyber system crashed was it not frail humanity
buried ‘neath the rubble of your invincibility?

It was a mocked up protoplasm super cyber being;
A computer generated image you were seeing.
And your super techno savior just got it in the back,
the victim of a real life human suicide attack.

Wow! Ain't that our new-age truth. Now back to hand's-on Shakespeare. Great writing!
