Sunshine
In the morning light, I rise with a smile,
Life's turned around, it's been quite a while.
I used to carry a heavy heart's load,
But now, in my step, there's a skip and a glow.
The days once cloudy, filled with despair,
Have given way to skies so fair.
I'm just a young girl, no worries, you see,
Happier than ever, wild and free.
It's as if the world decided to cheer,
And whispered sweet secrets in my eager ear.
The shadows have lifted, the sun shines so bright,
Everything's changed, everything's right.
My heart, once heavy, now dances with glee,
Life's painted in colors, as far as I see.
With each passing day, my dreams take flight,
I'm full of hope, my future's so bright.
No longer held down by what used to be,
I've found my joy, I've found my key.
To open the door to a world so fine,
Where happiness flows like sweetest wine.
So, here's to a life that's changed for the best,
To laughter, and dreams, and love's sweet caress.
I'm a young girl, with joy in my heart,
A brand new beginning, a fresh start.
